FAQ
Our Frequently Asked Questions
I’m not here to yell at you or hand you a cookie-cutter plan. I coach with clarity, structure, and accountability so you always know what to do and why you’re doing it. I’m honest, encouraging, and I keep it real. The goal isn’t perfection — it’s progress and confidence. By the end, you don’t just look better… you actually understand how to maintain it long-term.
I primarily train clients in-person at a private training facility (Sequoia Training Club in the Dallas Design District). I also offer online coaching, so if you prefer to train on your own schedule or don’t live nearby, you can still get the same structure, programming, and accountability remotely. At this time, I don’t offer in-home training. This setup allows me to give every client the best possible coaching experience and results. If you’re unsure which option is best for you, we’ll talk through it during your consultation and figure out what makes the most sense for your lifestyle.
Clients must provide at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule a session. Sessions canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice may be forfeited. Consistency is key to results, so clients are encouraged to maintain their weekly training frequency.
Each session is structured, efficient, and intentional, no wasted time. A typical session includes: - A focused warm-up to improve mobility, activate the right muscles, and prevent injury - Strength training built around compound movements to burn fat, build muscle, and get stronger - Accessory work to improve balance, posture, and muscle definition - Conditioning or finishers when appropriate — effective, not endless cardio - Coaching, cues, and accountability throughout so every rep actually counts Sessions are designed to challenge you without beating you up, and everything is scaled to your current fitness level.
I track progress using multiple data points, not just the scale. Depending on your goals, we look at: - Body weight trends - Progress photos to visually track body composition changes - Measurements when appropriate - Strength and performance metrics in your workouts - Lifestyle markers like energy levels, sleep, stress, and consistency The scale is just one tool, not the report card.
I provide personalized nutritional guidance, not just rigid meal plans. Instead of telling you exactly what to eat every day (although I can), I teach you how to eat for your goals so it actually fits your lifestyle and is sustainable long-term. That includes: - Calorie and macro guidance - Protein targets and simple meal structure - Education around food choices, portions, and consistency - Strategies for eating out, social events, and busy weeks This approach gives you flexibility without losing structure. Meal plans can work short-term, but understanding nutrition is what keeps the results long after coaching ends.
Yes! Support doesn’t stop when the session ends. Clients have access to: - Ongoing communication for questions, check-ins, and guidance - Program and habit adjustments as life and schedules change - Accountability between sessions to keep you consistent - Education and resources to help you understand the process, not just follow it That said, I also encourage independence. The goal is for you to feel supported and confident making decisions on your own. You’re never left guessing but you’re also not micromanaged.
Most clients start to feel changes within the first 2 weeks — better energy, improved strength, and more consistency. However, some visible changes typically happen around 5-7 weeks, and more significant body composition changes occur over 10-12 weeks and beyond, assuming consistency with training and nutrition. I recommend clients make a 12 week commitment at the very least. Results depend on: - Your starting point - Your consistency - Nutrition adherence - Sleep, stress, and lifestyle There’s no quick fix here. But if you follow the process, results are predictable. I focus on building habits that don’t just get you results — they help you keep them.
My program is designed around 3 strength-training focused workouts per week, with at least one rest or recovery day between sessions. This allows your body to recover, get stronger, and actually make progress. Outside of our sessions, I strongly encourage clients to stay active on non-training days — especially through simple activities like walking. This extra movement is vital for: - Fat loss - Recovery - Overall health - Maintaining consistency without overtraining
